It symbolizes their feeble struggle against the dual forces of neocolonialism and ineffective leadership in Africa.   Agoba is motivated by a desire to shed light on the socio-economic and cultural challenges faced by the teeming youth in Africa. The depiction of blindness is a powerful metaphor for the broader societal issues that prevent them from achieving the true freedom and self-determination they so fervently desire.
