This artwork is a commentary on the global threats that characterize our contemporary world. Through a careful selection of forms and colors, Agoba crafts a narrative that invites viewers to reflect on the fragility of our environment and the urgent need for collective action.  The forms within the painting are distorted to emphasize the urgency and severity of the ecological crisis. For instance, twisted trees, thorny branches,  and a melting globe-like form could serve as visual metaphors for the loss of biodiversity and the effects of rising temperatures. Agoba adopts a blend of realism and expressionism. Realistic elements ground the painting in recognizable forms, making the message accessible, while expressionistic techniques—such as bold brushstrokes or abstract forms—convey the emotional weight of the subject matter.
